Privacy Policy

Fahman AI is operated by Fahman AI Platform Management (educational project) ("we"). This policy applies to the website, the installable app and all related services.

By using the platform you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.

We collect only what we need to provide a personalized learning service:

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed — we cannot read it), date of birth, gender, stage and grade, and school type.
• Learning data: lessons viewed, quiz results, badges, consecutive study days, study plan, notifications, and AI assistant usage balance.
• Contact messages: the name, email and message you send through the contact form.
• Limited technical data: cookies required to keep you signed in, and a one-way hash of your IP address when you send a contact message, to prevent abuse.

We do not store the text of questions you ask the AI assistant in our database; they are sent to our AI provider for processing only, and we keep a usage count to calculate your balance.

• Providing the service: creating your account and showing lessons, explanations and quizzes for your grade.
• Personalization: addressing you by name, choosing interface colors and wording.
• Progress: calculating completion, badges, study days and your study plan, and sending related notifications.
• Security: verifying your email, protecting accounts and preventing abuse.
• Support: answering your questions and fixing technical issues.
• Improvement: improving content and explanation quality using aggregated usage data.

We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or show targeted ads on the platform.

The platform is designed for school students, most of whom are under 18. An account for a minor must be created with the consent or under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Parents or guardians may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of the student's data, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@ai-moallem.com.

If we learn that a minor's account was created without parental consent, we will take steps to delete it.

We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

• Supabase: database hosting, sign-in and lesson file storage.
• Vercel: application hosting.
• Google (Gemini): processing AI assistant questions and lesson content to produce explanations and quizzes.
• Resend: sending emails and verification codes.

Data may be processed on servers outside Egypt; in that case we apply the safeguards the law requires for cross-border transfers.

We only disclose data to others where required by law or by an official request from a competent authority.

We keep account and learning data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle and follow up on the request.

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, strict database access controls, server-only secret keys and hashed IP addresses.

No system is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our protections and will notify affected users and the authorities of any serious breach as required by law.

Under the law you (or your parent/guardian if you are a minor) may:

• Access your personal data and receive a copy.
• Correct or update your data (most of it can be edited directly on your Profile page).
• Request deletion of your data and account.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
• Object to or restrict processing where the law allows.
• Complain to the Personal Data Protection Center.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@ai-moallem.com; we will respond within the period set by law.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in, browser local storage for your preferences (such as dark mode), and the app cache to load faster.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with its date, and we will notify you in the app or by email about material changes.
